Getting Started
Setting up ANIS is quick and easy! First, create your parent account on our website. Then, add your child's profile with their age and name. Next, download the ANIS companion app on your child's device and scan the QR code to link it.
ANIS works on iOS (iPhone/iPad), Android phones and tablets, and has monitoring capabilities for Windows and Mac computers.
With our Premium plan, you can link multiple devices per child.
Safety & Privacy
We strongly encourage transparency. ANIS works best when children know it's there and understand why you're using it. We recommend having an open conversation about digital safety and healthy habits. The app shows a small notification icon on their device, promoting honest communication rather than secret monitoring.
We only collect what's necessary: app usage times, website URLs visited (not content), screen time duration, and location data if you enable it. We do NOT monitor private messages, passwords, keystrokes, photos, or files. Visit our Safety & Privacy page for complete details.
ANIS has protections in place to prevent tampering. If your child attempts to uninstall the app or disable monitoring, you'll receive an immediate notification. However, we believe the best approach is building trust—when children understand the 'why' behind monitoring, they're less likely to try to circumvent it.
Features & Usage
You can set daily time limits for overall screen time or specific app categories. When the limit is reached, the device will display a friendly notification and restrict access. You can set different limits for weekdays and weekends, and even create custom schedules for homework time, family time, and bedtime.
Yes! Every child profile has its own customizable rules. You can set age-appropriate limits and schedules for each child. For example, your 8-year-old might have stricter limits than your 14-year-old.
Our rewards system celebrates positive behavior! Children earn points and badges for staying within their screen time limits, completing tasks, or meeting goals you set. You can create custom rewards (like extra screen time, a special outing, or choosing dinner) that they can 'purchase' with their points. It makes healthy habits fun and motivating.
Every week, you'll receive a summary email with easy-to-read charts showing your child's screen time patterns, most-used apps, and progress toward goals. Premium users also get AI-powered insights and personalized recommendations. You can also view detailed reports anytime in your dashboard.
